— Principles of flight,
— Operational procedures,
— Flight performance and planning,
— Aircraft general knowledge, and
— Navigation.
PPL(A) naar CPL(H):
250 uur theorie instructie
CPL(A) naar CPL(H):
Part Q is voor Validation & Conversion of Non-EASA licenses issued by states other than the UK (handig voor FAA naar EASA)
Iedere Part is opgedeeld in
Subpart 1: Fixed wing (A)
Subpart 2: Rotary (H)
Subpart 3: Airships (As)
Subpart 4: Sailplanes (SPL)
1. Applicability
2. Privileges
3. Requirements
4. Acceptable Means of Compliance and Guidance Material (AMC & GM)
5. Additional Info.
PPL(A) naar PPL(H)
Je hebt nodig voor een PPL(H):
Section 4, Part C (PPL), Subpart 2 (H) 3 requirements, FCL.210.H punt A:
Applicants for a PPL(H) shall have completed at least 45 hours of flight
instruction on helicopters, 5 of which may have been completed in an FNPT or
FFS, including at least:
(1) 25 hours of dual flight instruction; and
(2) 10 hours of supervised solo flight time, including at least 5 hours of solo
cross-country flight time with at least 1 cross-country flight of at least
185 km (100 NM), with full stop landings at 2 aerodromes different from
the aerodrome of departure.
(3) 35 of the 45 hours of flight instruction have to be completed on the same
type of helicopter as the one used for the skill test.
Theory:
(a) Common subjects:
— Air law,
— Human performance,
— Meteorology, and
— Communications;
(b) specific subjects concerning the different aircraft categories:
— Principles of flight,
— Operational procedures,
— Flight performance and planning,
— Aircraft general knowledge, and
— Navigation.
Conversie:
Section 4, Part C (PPL), Subpart 2 (H) 3 requirments, FCL.210.H punt C
(c) Applicants holding a pilot licence for another category of aircraft (dus een fixed winger), with the exception of balloons, shall be credited with 10% of their total flight time as PIC on such aircraft up to a maximum of 6 hours. The amount of credit given shall inany case not include the requirements in (a)(2).
CPL(H):
Section 4, Part D (CPL), Subpart 2 (H), 3 requirments, FCL.315:
FCL.315 Training Course
An applicant for a CPL(H) shall have completed theoretical knowledge instruction
and flight instruction at an ATO, in accordance with Appendix 3 to Part-FCL (refer
to 5 – Additional Information).
Bij additional info (punt 5,) staat:
5.1
For information relating to crediting of theoretical knowledge for the issue of a pilots licence in another category of aircraft, bridge instruction and examination
requirements; refer to CAP 804, Section 4, Part L, Appendix 1, 1.2.
5.2
For information relating to training courses for the issue of a CPL(H); refer to CAP 804, Section 4, Part L, Appendix 3, paragraph I, J or K as appropriate.
H = ATP modular (H)
I = CPL/IR integrated (H)
J = CPL integrated (H)
K = CPL modular (H)
Section 4, Part L, Appendix 3, subpart K "CPL modular course Helicopters":
2
Before commencing a CPL(H) modular course an applicant shall be the holder of a
PPL(H) issued in accordance with Annex 1 to the Chicago Convention.
6
THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE
An approved CPL(H) theoretical knowledge course shall comprise at least 250
hours of instruction
11
The applicant for a CPL(H) shall have completed at least 185 hours flight time,
including 50 hours as PIC, of which 10 hours of cross-country flight as PIC, including
a VFR cross-country flight of at least 185 km (100 NM), in the course of which full
stop landings at two aerodromes different from the aerodrome of departure shall
be made.
Hours as pilot-in-command of other categories of aircraft may count towards the 185 hours flight time, in the following cases:
(a) 20 hours in aeroplanes, if the applicant holds a PPL(A); or
(b) 50 hours in aeroplanes, if the applicant holds a CPL(A); or
(c) 10 hours in TMGs or sailplanes; or
(d) 20 hours in airships, if the applicant holds a PPL(As); or
(e) 50 hours in airships, if the applicant holds a CPL(As).
