Flydubai pilot 'stabbed or hit with an axe' during hijack attempt; more new details

De passagier zegt dat het in seconden gebeurde en dat de neus van het vliegtuig omlaag stond. Volgens Netanyahu was de Indiase pilot zwaar bloeiend, maar lukte het hem om de cockpit-deur te openen. Een analist zegt dat de passagiers zonder vliegtraining de aanvallende co-pilot met een wapen onder controle kregen en het toestel weer horizontaal maakten. De reserve pilots in het passagiersgedeelte kwamen binnen en stabiliseerden het toestel, dat neerstootte met een beschadigde rudder en staart.
