Pilot crashes twice in one week

The small plane went down in Mint Hill Friday.
The man flying the plane said he was taxiing to a stop when the brakes locked up and the aircraft flipped over.
Just last Friday, the same pilot, flying a different small plane, went down in a parking lot on Wilkinson Boulevard.
The cause of that crash has not been determined, but the pilot was not seriously hurt in either incident.
“I'm thinking the good Lord is telling me I shouldn't be flying," the pilot said.

I think not only the good Lord is telling him he shouldn't be flying, the FAA on short term basis will as well.

arthorizon· 30 mrtBen het met Neil wel eens, maar ook zonder gebruik van remmen kan het bij een tailwheel kist gebeuren als de bestuurder de verfijnde techniek van het taxien met rugwind niet echt onder de knie heeft, of zit te suffen. Grondsnelheid 10 knots, en hup daar ging de ace. heb het twee keer zien gebeuren.
Dan had je ook nog de z.g. propjes, met de Piper Cub, waar de prop de grond raakt maar de kist niet flipt.
Heel wat ego'tjes zijn zo in de loop der jaren geknakt.
Bij de Klu hadden we vroeger een poster met daarop een op z'n neus staande Piper Cub, met als titel, "Klein goed, geen speelgoed" Hoe waar.
