EASA PPL naar FAA PPL

Hi,
Op het moment vlieg ik veel N-geregistreerde kisten en wil ook de grens over. Is er iemand op de hoogte van de procedure om een EASA PPL om te zetten naar FAA. Ik zie tegenstrijdige berichten over naar Amerika toe te gaan en daar een FSDO te zoeken en dit formulier in te vullen: http://www.faa.gov/licenses_certificates/airmen_certification/foreign_license_verification/

Iemand die me tips kan geven over de beste manier?

FAA PPL FAR 61.75
Hi Handle,
Both local or travelling to the US is possible, PPL conversion is only paper work with one face to face meeting in the US at the FSDO or here in Europe with a DPE.
Travel cost to the US will not be much more than the cost charged by the DEP in Europe.
