Global Flyer op pad!

Mission Status: Press Briefing 10pm CST at Mission Control. Elapsed Journey time: 3 hours 13 minutes. Distance covered 869 miles.
The flight has progressed exactly as planned. It took Steve one hour to reach 30,000 feet and he has continued to climb steadily. Mission Control has spoken with Steve and he reports that everything is working well and that he is pleased with progress so far.
Steve is currently traveling at 310 knots / 357 mph (ground speed).
He will shortly enter Canadian airspace over Lake Huron and will then head northeast to North Bay and then eastwards towards Newfoundland.

zat ik gister te zappen zag ik m ineens live landen. Toch wel vette shit dat hij t gehaald heeft. Ik heb het de afgelopen dagen niet echt gevolgd, maar ik hoorde dat hij tijdens zijn start 1400kg (ofzoiets) brandstof kwijt was geraakt? Lijkt me ietwat veel, wie heeft er hier meer info over?
